Bandana Scarf - Paisley - Hondo
I love a bandana scarf. The traditional cowboy bandana in paisley has always been one of my favorites to wear. A cotton bandana has it's charm, yet my favorite has always been the silk bandana. Sure, silk costs more but oh, the deluxe feeling that you can only get with silk is worth every cent, in my humble opinion.
Silk can be worn in the summer or winter. One of the best attributes of silk is that it can get wet and not cause chafing to the skin, which is necessary if you're a working ranch hand. Silk is one of the strongest natural fibers, yet it's so soft that you forget you're wearing it at times. You never forget you're wearing wool lol

Often people think of a bandana scarf as the traditional 22 inches - Like so many people I prefer a large silk scarf. At Cowtown Wild Rags, we offer bigger bandana scarf sizes with a large silk scarf of 36 inches or an extra large silk scarf of 42 inches. Additionally, one the best reasons to invest in a silk scarf bandana is the vibrant color that only silk displays.
Not sure if it makes a difference to wear a silk bandana scarf? Go out into the sunshine and look at a silk bandana wild rag as compared to a cotton bandana. Cotton absorbs the light, creating a matte and non-reflective surface. A silk wild rag also absorbs light but in a different way - because of the silk fibers it produces a shimmering optical effect. This is the famous silk effect! If you want to get noticed, wear a silk bandana scarf because it is the ultimate conversation starter.
