  • Roll your wild rag into a long roll. If you're not sure how to roll a wild rag, here's a video walking you through how to do a nice, long silk roll so that you get the longest line of silk and not a ruffled silk look.

  • After you have your rolled-up wild rag (I'm using a 36" in this video, but you can definitely use a 42" as well). Hold the scarf in the middle of the roll and take the scarf behind your head bringing the fold to one side and the other two ends to the other.

  • Take the two loose ends and tie a half hitch (not a full knot). Take the closest end and put it through the loop on the opposite side.

  • Even up those two ends so they are the same length.

  • Then finish with a square knot. You can easily tie a square knot by tying left over right, and right over left with the wild rag ends. This creates the wild rag wedding ring knot.
