How to Tie a Wild Rag Basket Weave Knot (the Hardest Knot)

How to Tie the Wild Rag Basket Weave Knot

The wild rag basket weave knot could be the hardest knot to tie. There are some detailed steps - and it's so worth tying your wild rags in this unique knot.

We'll walk you through the steps!

How to Tie a Wild Rag Basket Weave Knot

1: First step, you'll want to roll your wild rag into a long silk roll. Take your wild rag and put it behind your neck with the two ends on each side of you.

2: Take your first end and your going roll that end toward your two fingers and wrap the end around the fingers on the inside toward your knuckles, making a loop. Hold onto the loop where it is connected and move the direction towards the center of your chest.

3: Take the other end of the wild rag that has not been used, hanging on the other side. Take that wild rag moving part of it through the previous loop created. You're creating another loop by putting that wild rag through the loop, but not pulling it all the way through.

4: Take your finger and use it as a place holder, sticking into the loop.

5: Now, take those two ends hanging down and switch places with them.

6: Then, starting from under the scarf at your neck, take the end of the wild rag that was the second one to poke through the first loop and pull that up.

7: Take that end of the wild rag and follow your finger through, going through the scarf tunnel.

8: Pull the ends tight, adjusting if you need to and flattening the basket weave. You have now created a basket weave knot!! Congrats! This is a hard wild rag knot to tie...and you did it!
